RSSMusic is an important part of any church. At LaGrange Park our music is led by Mrs. Margaret White. The following is a brief outline of the opportunities for music ministry that are available at our church
His Praise - This is our primary worship choir. It is for anyone 18 years old or older. This choir is a vital part
of
the LaGrange Park worship experience.
What a privilege to be a part of leading worship services.
Rehearsals
are held each Sunday evening following the PM worship service at 7:10.
Student Choir - This choir is for students in 7-12th grades. Music ministry for students is more than sideline support. In fact it is a wonderful experience to join in worship. Rehearsals are each Sunday at 4:00 pm.
Preschool and Children's Music Ministry - This group is open to 4 & 5 year-olds as well as 1st-6th graders. This choir gives opportunities for learning music and drama and allows us to teach boys and girls that music is a vital and important part of worship. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday at 6:15 pm in choir room. During the off season for AWANA this group practices from 4:50 - 5:50 on Sunday afternoons, and performs an annual summer musical.
Technical Support - Without the help of those who operate our sound board and powerpoint, worship would be quite different. If you have skills in this area or would be interested to learn, contact our technical department, or Mrs. Margaret.
