What is Killer-Pong? Killer pong is a game that was invented as far as I know by a group of guys at the University of Kentucky Baptist Student Union in the mid 1990's where I was a student. Since I have been in youth ministry (also since the mid-90's) I have taught it to each of my youth groups. If you happen to have found this site and were there at the BSU back in the day, send me an e-mail, I would love to hear from you.
The gameplay involves regular ping-pong equipment and a regular ping-pong serve but the similarities end there. Killer-pong can be played by a large number of people at once since it is played in rotation.
Essentially it involves a regular serve (the ball bounces once on each side of the net) then from that point on the ball must bounce only once on the floor before being returned to the table. if you fail to return the ball to the table, you score a point. A normal game is played to 5 points. Once a player earns 5 points, he or she is out.
Currently, the LaGrange Park youth group killer-pong cup is held by
Gregory Fenn
