His favorite Bible passage is Joshua 24:15: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (KJV)
This is his personal testimony: I was saved at 11 years old when I asked Jesus into my heart and recieved His grace and mercy for my sins. I still am excited about my walk with the Lord.

Rev. Jeremy MathisMinister of Youth
Jeremy Came to LaGrange Park in 2005.
He has a Master of Divinity in Apologetics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he has been in youth minstry since 1996.
In his spare time Jeremy enjoys fishing and watching sports (particularly Kentucky Basketball).
His favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 2.
This is his personal testimony: I grew up in church, and I was very young when I accepted Jesus as my savior at Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church (Bristol, VA); however, it was some years later when I was baptized in my home church, Concord Baptist in Hopkinsville, KY. I did not really take my Christianity seriously until I went away to college, found myself all alone, and was faced with the decision of where to turn. In October of 1994, I recommitted my life to Jesus, and I have never looked back. I now feel God's call to the ministry and am convinced that He wants me in youth ministry.
