Grange Park Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church. We are affiliated with the New South River Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We have a leadership covenant you can read here (.pdf). You may also read our church covenant (pdf.). And we hold to the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).
Our vision: To reach the greater Fayetteville metropolitan area and military community for Christ, through exalting Jesus Christ, evangelizing the individual and family and equipping them to serve the risen Lord in the Church and the World.
We
believe the Bible is the means by which God has expressed His
instruction for mankind about Himself and everything we need to guide
the church and in our individual lives.
We believe the essence of the Christian
life is to live out, by grace
through the Holy Spirit, the character traits best exemplified by our
LORD Jesus Christ. The moral standards stated in the Bible
and exemplified in Jesus Christ are timelessly applicable to all people
of all ages in all societies.
We believe that man was created in
God’s image, even though
man is sinful, all people are to be treated with dignity, respect and
love. Their individual and family needs matter to us as we
help them address the issues of their lives and seek to bring
Christ’s mercy and grace.
We believe God orders the affairs of the
church of Jesus Christ and
ordains its leaders. Therefore, it is our responsibility to
recognize, develop, support, and respect leaders in our church.
- By making a statement of faith that you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ and that you have been baptized by full immersion.
- By transfer of letter stating that you are a member in good standing in another Southern Baptist church. Our church clerk will take care of receiving the letter.
- By receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and desiring baptism at the earliest possible time. After baptism you are automatically entered onto our church roll.
